Lack of ideas getting a Father’s Day gift? Sick of doing the same old things every year?
How about a change this year round??
A whole new idea, a handmade gift from you, your child, to your beloved husband and dad.
Our Craft Place has came up with a idea, and wishes to share it with those who are interested in the idea, Love ‘In’ Bottle..
This time round, it’s be a mother and child combination! Yes, your child would also participate in the making of Love ‘In’ Bottle..
Of couse, not forgetting, we will also be doing a Father’s Day card to go with the Love ‘In’ Bottle

Hi all you mini album lovers out there! We have this week our very special mini tag album! What in the world is that, you ask. Well, just to tantalize your taste buds, here’re some lovely sneak peeks into our Let’s Play Tag mini album!
Delicious looking isn’t it? Tempted? Well, you should be. This album is compact, simple, flexible and easy to make. Once you have learnt the technique of creating this wonderful mini tag album, you can produce your very own albums customized to suit any occasion!
As usual, almost all materials will be provided for and you only need to bring:
1) 4-5 small photos
2) Alphas
3) Acid free tape glue
4) Fibres / ribbons (we do have, but colours are limited)
5) Penknife, metal ruler or your favourite cutter (we do provide though)
As the seats are limited, please email fabian@ourcraftplace.com for information on doing a bank transfer to reserve a slot for yourselves.

Here Comes Acrylic!

Hello again! Our class for this week is a class that has never been conducted in Singapore! Interested already? Well, here are some pictures to tempt those creative juices!
Check out those gorgeous swirls!
This is an acrylic album that uses a pre cut piece of acrylic frame. Acrylic is actually fiberglass that is clear and will not turn yellow over time. To find out more, just sign up for our class!!!
Of course, this class does not end here. We have 3 pieces of acrylic for each participant to paint, ink, use rub ons, stickers…… the possibilities are limitless! To learn more and be among the first to attend this class in Singapore, remember to sign up soon!
All you are required to bring are:
1) Scissors, penknives, ruler
2) Acid free tape glue (we sell them too!)
3) Alphas (Metal, plastic, stickers, etc)
4) 3 to 4 photos that can be cut into slightly smaller ones

Jacob’s Ladder Mini Album

Here’s the highly anticipated technique class……, Jacob’s Ladder Mini Album!! This album takes altered art and scrapbooking to a whole new level! Come join us for this exciting and fun class. It will be hard work, but in the end, when the album is completed, this will be your reward….
Jacob’s Ladder is actually a children’s toy that has endlessly fascinated the young and the old alike. It’s unique way of repeatedly flipping itself over and over again is a complete mystery to those trying to figure it out. Well, in this class, we will unravel the mystery for you and teach you to make your own Jacob’s Ladder.All you are required to bring for the class are:
- Acid free tape glue / liquid glue
- Scissors, penknife, metal ruler (your own cutter if you have)
As this is a technique class, it is not expected that you will have time to embellish or put any photos in it. The ribbons are free hanging, thus allowing you to slot your photos through at your own convenience. Embellishments are best kept to a minimum in order for the album to fold and flip smoothly.

Machine ‘R Us

We know that many scrappers and crafters out there are having a headache as to what die cut machine to buy. There may even be someone out there asking, “What in the world is a die cut machine?!”Well, fret no more and ask no more!! We have a Machines ‘R Us class! This class will introduce you to the various die cut machines and the different dies in the market. We don’t promise to have ALL the different machines, but we do have the latest and the most fun ones! There are literally thousands of dies out there and it can get very confusing for the first timer. But don’t worry, here at Our Craft Place, we will do our best to help.Not only do you get to learn about them, you will have have hands-on experience with them! You will get to bring home all the lovely die cut shapes and alphas! We will be sending out more information soon. If you are really, really, really desperate for this class, wait no more. Put your name on the waiting list NOW!There is absolutely no need for you to bring anything at all! Our Craft Place will provide the following :
1) 3 pieces of plain Bazzil Cardstock (Your own choice of colour)
2) 1 piece of Bling Bazzil Cardstock (Your own choice of colour)
3) 1 piece of lucious felt (Your own choice of colour)
All this plus unlimited use of all the die cut machines that we have. Now, isn’t this the ultimate enjoyment? The dates for this special promotion will be on 29th and 30th of September, 2007, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
The time will be from 1pm to 3.30pm. Please have a nice lunch first.
And unbelievably, this course will only set you back $20! It’s true!
Also, you have to be quick because seats are limited! We have a cosy gathering of only 4 people each class as we want everybody to have the pleasure of using all the available machines and dies. Payment can be made through POSB bank transfers. We regret that we will only be able to reserve a place for you if you have made the payment in full as there are many people clamouring for this special package class! We will be reserving the place on a first pay first reserved basis. We ask for your kind understanding!
